Arlene's Dolls - Designs by Chris Miller

Chris has been designing since 1987. Her career soared when she was hired as the sole designer for the Pittsburgh Original Doll Co in 1991. It was there that her designing passion flourished and was constantly fueled by collectors who loved and cherished her work. Her reputation for beautiful doll and bear creations layered with lace, fabrics, ribbons and unusual color combinations grew as her artistic talent blossomed.

Chris left POD in January of 1999 with a long list of nominations and awards including the much sought after Award of Excellence and the prestigious Doll of the Year award. She left with the satisfaction of knowing that well over 50,000 collectors now own Chris Miller dolls and continue to admire her work. In February of 1999 with the help of her husband Ray, A Journey of the Heart was born.

She now continues her passion for beautiful doll clothing and dolls in her own Studio located in Pittsburgh Pa. Step into the world of creations by this renowned artist. It is a world of layered fabrics, lace, ribbons and flowers.
