Lorella began making dolls in 1998, first working on antique reproductions and later creating original modern porcelain dolls. A finished doll reflects her goal of creating character and personality through the use of color and costume. Her inspiration is drawn from family, friends and fond memories of her childhood.

Lorella's dolls are sculpted with love and attention to the finest details. Dolls are created as limited editions or one-of-a-kind. Lorella designs every aspect of her dolls, from the original sculptures to the handmade clothing.

Costumes are made from high quality materials: fine natural fabrics for clothing, mohair locks for hand-made wigs, and leather for shoes. Every doll is carefully china-painted and fired numerous times to bring out an emotion in the face of every doll.

Every doll is hand-crafted with quality finishes and an eye for the beauty of the final product.
